'Pride Wyoming' Salvage Operations
Wild Well Control-Marine was recently contracted by Seahawk Drilling (a subsidiary of Pride International) to provide the project management services, engineering, vessels and offshore project team to conduct the salvage and site clearance of J/U rig Pride Wyoming's components located within Ship Shoal 283' offshore GOM in 180' fsw. In order to minimize the commercial and operational risks associated with salvage operations, WWCI conducted all work for a fixed price reducing the overall liability for Seahawk.

OVERVIEW |
The Pride Wyoming, a Bethlehem JU-250-MS design mat rig, was jacked up on location at SS 283A when Hurricane Ike passed in September 2009. The rig was destroyed, leaving debris in three separate blocks. WWCI was contracted to conduct the prep, salvage and site clearance of all rig components located in the Ship Shoal 283 block. Salvage operations were completed in 17 days, 4 days ahead of schedule. |
