Subsea Safety Elevated

WellCONTAINED delivers an adaptable-response equipment package built for a variety of subsea scenarios. Based on extensive experience in subsea well control, the Tier I kit’s design criteria provide for a depth rating of 12,500 fsw, 15,000 psi shut-in pressure, and dual mechanical barriers, complete with ROV-controlled functionality. The capping stack’s modular design facilitates rapid global deployment on readily available Boeing 747 or Antonov AN124 cargo aircraft. The systems are verified by third parties and staged for deployment at our Aberdeen and Singapore locations.

DEBRIS REMOVAL PACKAGE

The debris removal package contains two sizes of subsea shears that provide the cutting capability of tubular and structural members up to 46 inches in size. The shears can be used for activities like cutting bent or broken riser, shearing pipe or clearing an area to prepare for capping stack activities.

SUBSEA DISPERSANT APPLICATION PACKAGE

The subsea dispersant application package includes all required hardware to facilitate the application of dispersants subsea from the client-provided down line (coiled tubing or hose) through application wands or ROV hot stabs. Key components include the subsea routing manifold, and subsea distribution manifold/hose deployment reel with 1,000 ft of 1-in. ID subsea hose. The system is rated to 10,000 psi for the Global Package and 5,000psi for the Regional Package and may also be used to convey hydrate inhibition and remediation chemicals as well as control line fluids.

SUBSEA CAPPING STACKS

The capping stacks comprise 18 3/4-in. 15K Cameron Type TL ram assemblies and drilling spools with four outlets, which are outfitted with chokes for soft shut‐in operations or gooseneck assemblies for extended flow back/well kill operations. The capping stacks also feature chemical injection (dispersant or hydrate mitigation/remediation) as well as internal pressure and temperature monitoring capability with acoustic transmission of readings to the surface. The stacks can be connected to a BOP or on top of a wellhead utilizing HC and H4 connectors that are included in the package. The capping stacks are deployable on either drillpipe or wire.

SUBSEA HYDRAULIC POWER UNIT

To provide hydraulic power to function the equipment that may be employed during the response operations, ROV-deployable hydraulic skids are included. Two complete ROV skids are included in the Global package along with complete spares of the pump trays on each skid. All of the equipment is stored/shipped in a single 20ft container that also contains an HPU for maintenance and deck testing. This tooling may also be used to conduct secondary operation of the primary BOP.
